Camp Sunshine!

Camp Sunshine is a camp for families that have a child (or children) with cancer. In April (2010) we got to go! It was a lot of fun. We got to meet a lot of families and make a lot of friends there. They had so many activities that you could do! Like....fishing, boating, rock climbing, archery, kick ball, tennis, put-put, arts and crafts, cooking, gold panning, etc. They also had a swimming pool, zip line, horse back riding and pottery, but those weren't opened that time. They have a bunch of cabins for you to stay in, too. We stayed for 2 days and had a blast. Here are a few pictures..

Hope you enjoyed these! We had a great time at Camp Sunshine. :)

Here's what we've been up to this weekend..

Last night my cousin, Bradley Tucker, graduated from high school! Congratulations! The graduation ceremony was a the ICHS football field and then after that, he had a graduation party! It lasted until midnight. It was a lot of fun!

Today we cleaned up around the house some, and then went over to our friends house to go swimming! I'm glad it is finally getting hot enough to swim. It's almost summer time! Can't believe it. :) Anyway, we had a fun time.

I have been looking forward to this day ever since the first couple weeks of Winter(because cold weather in defiantly not my thing). The day when the sun would shine all day long with a little bit of breeze. The day when flowers & trees would be blooming and the bumble bees, butterfly's & dragonfly's would all be flying around..And now that day is finally here! It's a perfect day today (you know, the kind of day that makes you want to run bare-foot through a field of wild flowers singing to the top of your lungs? lol ;)).. It's the first day of SPRING!!!

AKA: Potato head. AKA: Mr. drool-a-lot. AKA: Mr. Cutest. ;)

My little baby brother is getting so big! He is already 5 months old! It makes me kind of sad that he is growing up so fast.

He started smiling about 2-3 months ago. Now he will coo, laugh & smile at you. It is so cute! Mama has just recently started giving him cereal in his bottles and he drinks it up like there is no tomorrow! He is also learning how to roll over. We have to be careful now when we put him in his bumbo or bouncy seat..he will try to kick himself out of there! :)

He is so super sweet and loves to be held and get attention.
And..he LOVES watching T.V.! He will just sit there in his little walker in front of the T.V. and just stare and talk to it. It's the funniest thing!
Yep, he is defiantly 100% boy. :)

...now if we can just find a way to keep him this little...

An update!!

Things have been rather hectic around the Tucker home as of late.
Homeschooling, church, hospital visits, school, hospital visits, church..
Well, I think you get the picture. ;)

Ida Marie got to come home from a 9 day visit to CHOA (Children's Health care Of Atlanta)on Thursday. She had to go by ambulance (Mama got to ride with her) on Tuesday night with a fever. One week after they left the rest of my family and I went to see them and spent the rest of the time with them up in Atlanta (the reason she had to stay so long was because her ANC numbers were too low to come home.). Now we are all home and Ida Marie is doing great.

Ida Marie has been doing SO well with her chemo. The doctors say the her body is responding to the chemo, which is great. At first she couldn't walk, was sick with all the medicine and ill a lot of the time, but now she is walking (all by herself!) and talking and singing and is hardly ever sick from chemo-- thank the Lord for nausea medicine!

She is getting better with her doctor visits now. She is helping the nurses take her blood pressure, picking out which finger that she wants the little light to go on, etc. She is also smiling and singing (the "Itsy Bitsy Spider", "You are my Sunshine" and, "Amazing Grace") to everyone that passes her in the hospital halls :). This is a BIG improvement from her first couple of visits to the hospital when she cried and was scared at everything..The Lord is defiantly blessing her! And us, as well.

A difficult diagnosis.

I'm so sorry I have not posted in so long! A lot has happened since Thanksgiving....

My little sister, Ida Marie, was diagnosed with Childhood Leukemia.
There are two types of Leukemia, AML, which is not as common in children and harder to treat, and ALL, which is the most common type of Leukemia in children.
Ida Marie has ALL.

Since December (when she was first diagnosed) she has completed one round of chemotherapy. The first round was hard on her and made her very sick. She lost most of her hair. She got sick with an infection and a stomach virus, and had to spend a few weeks in the hospital. Since the chemo makes her immune system weak, she has to go to the hospital for things like a fever & cold so they can give her antibiotics to help her fight it off. It also makes her very weak, and she can't even walk right now. The first month was difficult, and still is, but she is improving.

She is now going through the second round of chemo and it is not making her sick yet, thank the Lord.

Every day she improves just a little bit more. The chemo is doing what it is supposed to and is killing the cancer! She is now in remission. They still want to do chemo to make sure that the Leukemia never comes back.

This is just basically a quick overview of what's been happening these past few months. I'll try and do better by updating more!!

Life with two babies is so much fun! Not to mention a lot of work..but fun nonetheless :)

Malachi and Mama are both doing great! Malachi is a very content baby. He is eating about every 2-3 hours and sleeping a lot. Everyone always has open arms and is wanting to hold him..I guess that's good because that's what he likes :)

Now a little bit of "physical info." ;)
He is 8 lbs. and 20 inches long. He has light brown hair and dark blue eyes. He also has really long feet :)

Ida Marie is still getting used to the fact that she is not the baby any more. Still getting used to the fact that she doesn't get all of the attention any more...But, she still gets plenty of that. I think she is handling it just fine. She really loves her "bebe" and likes to hold him and give him kisses.

Cincinnati trip~

Last weekend our Daddy took four of us girls and a friend on a trip to Cincinnati for a church meeting. We had a really great time, lots of friends, and lots of memories :)
Below is just some pics. of the trip!

It was really beautiful in Ohio! Most of the trees had turned either red, yellow or orange. Not to mention, the temperature felt like Alaska! ..Okay, maybe not quite that cold.. But for a Southerner in the North, it sure felt like it ;)

This is just the subdivision where we stayed with some of our friends from the Cincinnati church.

Well, I knew this day would come.. and sadly, it came. Today is the last day of our summer. And tomorrow, our brains go back in gear. I am sad, but I can't say I'm not looking forward to Fall! I love fall. Love the nice, cool weather. The Saturday football games. Hunting season. Thanksgiving. And then.. into Christmas! But still, I wish somehow I could stay in today forever. Or, at least have a rewind button so that I can rewind from any day back to this "no-school" day. But tomorrow is a new adventure, another year of homeschooling. Maybe it won't be that bad after all! ;)

We are all excited about the Georgia Bulldogs and their first game of the season tomorrow!! Normaly for the first game, all of Daddy's side of the fam. gathers around in Granny and Pappy's living room and we watch the game there. It is always fun :)

Sorry for not posting! I just joined facebook and, wow, it is SO addictive (does any of you have facebook?)! So, my apologies...

So, We are still enjoying our summer, for school has not started back yet for us. Actually, today we enjoyed a (almost) full day of swimmin' in the sun. It was a "good 'ol cottin pickin' time"! Until' , as usual, I got sun burnt.. lol
But, on Sept. the 8th we will be putting our brains back in gear ;0) And that date is creeping upon us fast. In fact, too fast!!

Well, I hope to be posting more often! Especially once we start school and get into a routine again.

I'll probably post again tomorrow or the next day.. but don't hold me to it ;)

A fun vacation!!

Hey! Sorry for not posting in a while. We have been on vacation! It went really well. We stayed in a condo for 5 days in Orlando, FL. We didn't go to a beach, we just decided to swim and shop. The pool was really fun! It was a big and had this pirate ship in the middle, with a water slide going down. Also, beside our condo there was a big outlet mall. It was good shopping compared to our small mall here in Tifton. LOL ;)

I have never given much thought on how Orlando is so huge (and crowded)!! One could get lost easily. I know from experience....

So, we were trying to find our condo (following directions from a cell phone), and somehow we ended up at Disney Land! We almost had to pay a parking fee, but the guy told us to go "straight and take a left" and "that would lead us to the interstate". So we finally made it back to the interstate, and eventually found our condo.

Another experience..

You know how guy's never stop and ask for directions? I mean, males are stubborn when it comes down to directions!
My Dad, fitting that category, took us on a 2 hour drive (well, more like a 2 hour circle) trying to find the Hard Rock cafe. After stopping at the "Hard rock motel" and the "Hard rock corporation" AND, finally, after stopping and asking for directions. We found the Hard rock cafe. Our "director" replied with, "You'd of never found it bro". And we probably never would have. But thanks to female persuasion, we finally stopped for directions.
~But hey, that hamburger was well worth it!!~

Well, I will try to post some pictures of our trip soon!

On a side note: Today we went on our trip to Ichatucknee.
(I figured out how to spell that one.. SCORE!!)It was raining when we first arrived, but then it cleared up, the sun came out, and I, as usual, got my sunburn *sniffle* It was a blast! And also very cold...

I hope you all are enjoying this hot, wonderful summer! Just a little info. on what's been happening around here.

We are almost through with cantaloupes.. Probably by Monday we will be done.

My family is planning a vacation to the mountains near the end of this month. Also our church youth is taking a one day trip to float down the Itchatutney River (I hope I spelled that right!).

Hannah, a friend and I are taking sewing classes every Wed. afternoon. We are in the middle of making aprons. Last time we made cloth napkins! I will take some pictures and post them when we are through with all of our projects.

Wed. night we have Bible study at our church. Sunday mornings and nights we have our regular church services. And every first Monday of the month, we have prayer meetings. And soon we will be getting ready for our Annual meeting!

We are canning some tomatoes and making jellies and jams here. We put up some corn and peas as well. Getting ready for winter! We'll probably be so tired after all of the summer activities, We'll probably just go into hibernation! LOL ;)

Amongst that we have our everyday chores and things here at the house.
Tonight we are going to see Ice age 3.... In 3.D! LOL :)

Happy 4th of July!!!

We are going over our Uncle's house to celebrate tonight. We're going to have a cook-out with lots of ribs, my favorite! We are also going to swim and light some sparklers and throw some poppers. :)

I am thankful for our nation, America. I am thankful for our freedom, and past leaders. But most importantly, thankful for the freedom we have, as Christians, to serve Jesus Christ!

Pick, eat, sleep, Repeat!

We were given the left-over cantaloupe plants from my Pappy's (My Dad's Dad) crop this year. So we planted about 5 acres, and have been picking through the summer. About every other day we take them to the farmers market and sale. We all like it a lot :O) After cantaloupes are through (which should be only a few more days) we are going on a vacation to the mountains, and going white water rafting. White water rafting will be a first for me, so I am very excited. I hear it is fun. Well, I shall report back later!! Have a good day :)

A beach trip!

Last weekend Daddy, Zeb, Zach and the Reed boys (Stephen and Josh) took a trip to Ohio for a coon hunt (hear about that at abigtime.blogspot.com). So while all of the boys were gone some of the Reed girls (Mrs. Linda, Sarah, Anna, Emily and Virginia) and some of the girls in our family (Mama, Hannah, Gracie, Lydia and I) took a one day trip to Jekyll Island (we left the littler ones with grandparents). We left our house at around 7:00 a.m. and left the beach around 6:00-7:00 p.m. The beach was nice and calm with a few waves. We saw some dolphins (up close to shore) and collected some sand dollars and cool sea shells. We brought along our coolers and a little tent/shade thing and spent our 12 hours right on the beach.. in the white sand. Now that's my kind of summer! LOL :) It was a lot of fun. Everyone
(but me [alright, I got a little red.. but it only lasted one day]) got sun burnt.. badly sun burnt. I think we used a whole bottle of that Aloe gel! ;)

So, I've been trying to give my blog a new look.. and I admit that without "the cutest blog on the block" I would be totally lost. LOL :) I've always wanted one of those headers that I see on other blogs (they are so incredibly cute) but I have no idea where to design, or get one for free. Tips anyone?

The rain has been great, has it not? Just this evening we had a little "mini flash flood" of our own. But I think God has had mercy and has been sending us lots of sunshine in between showers due to last time when the youngsters/mud balls ran away after being couped up for so long! :p lol

Almost through with school for the summer! June 10th.. I dream that date. Live that date. Think that date.. June 10th! I plan on finishing just a little before then though. And I will be one happy 12 yr. old when that date finally arrives~

P.S. Did I mention that I daydream June 10th too??

IT'S A BOY!!!!!!!!!

We figured out today that baby #8 is a boy! Believe it or not ;) We are so excited. My little twin brothers, Zeb and Zach, were saying "We've waited 9 years for this" (They are the only boys in our family) !! So, we are all happy we finally got another boy... Thought we'd never see the day, lol.

The due date is November the 4th.. my Granny's birthday! But, if it happened to be born in October, we would fill up almost every month with birthdays.... We already have:
Nov. Dec. Jan. Feb. March. (no April or May) June, July and August! *Phew*

*Putting on my announcement voice* Now for an up-date on the sugar fast:
Three new members joined our little group today at the home school group!
The fast is still going good. Each day I get better at the tempting part.. Probably because I'm getting used to seeing people eat deserts and sodas. I'm not saying that I'm NOT tempted though, because those Kool Aids everyone was drinking today sure looked good! But, I stood true to my word... I didn't even eat the peppermint I was offered! LOL :0)

Well, tomorrow is field day! I am really looking foward to it! I'll try to take some pictures, but I'm not sure if my camera is still having those "light" problems. We'll see though! Until' then........

I guess your all wondering where I've been. Well, lets see......

Last weekend my whole family, a friend and I took a nice, long trip up to Cincinnati! My Dad was asked to preach at Cincinnati PBC. We all had a great time and enjoyed the sites (thanks Sis. Christy and Sis. Rebecca!)... The weather was LOVELY too :) Unfortunately we forgot to bring our camera's along to take pictures of the sites. :(

But we did get this picture through Hannahs' camera~

This weekend was our May meeting. We had a great time and had blessed services! The preacher stayed with us, so we spent the week days getting ready for that.

These days we have been trying to finish up school for the summer. We only have about 2-3 more weeks. Right near the end of the school year is when you get really anxious to get finished... I think I've hit that point!

Anyway, my older sister, Hannah, heard about this "sugar fast" and decided to try it out. She also asked a friend and I to do it with her. The rules are simple.. Just don't eat sugar for 40 days! WHAT???? Are you kidding me?? No sugar? Alright, so if there is sugar in your casserole, fine. You can't really help that. But no visits to the desert table, concession stand, candy isle, or syrup on your pancakes kind of thing (etc)... And the chocolate :( .... For all you chocoholics out there, believe me, it's not so easy! The sugar fast is supposed to make you feel more "cleansed" and just feel a LOT better. I'm on my 3rd day. So, here I go on another one of my crazy adventures! Why I'm doing this? I don't exactly know.. maybe for memories sake I guess? You've got to see the "Chalk guy"!!!!

Yesterday after our church services, or Aunt and cousins took us with them to see the
"chalk guy" at Satila Baptist Church (above Ocilla). Who's the chalk guy you say? Well, He is a man, Ben Glenn, who has ADD.He goes all around the U.S. speaking at churches, schools etc. (which of corse is his job). He shares his testimonies of how Jesus has blessed him and he tells very comical stories about his life. Then afterwards draws pictures with chalk. At first it looks like he is just scribbling, but when the picture is through, it comes out a master-piece! And he is so fun to watch and listen to. And his stories, Oh.My.Goodness. They are sooo funny!!! :) I laughed the whole entire time... even when he said something that wasn't funny, I was still laughing from the things he said before that were funny!
He's such a great guy, and anyone that listens to him or watches him will just fall in love with him, his art and stories... You've got to see the chalk guy!!

As you see there are no pictures of brightly dressed people and purple flowers.

But, I'm not going to say I didn't try, because I did!

My story: Well, after lunch I got Lydia and Gracie all dressed up, got my batteries charged, and even managed to get a memory card *patting my back*! So we set out across the field to find the perfect spot with a lot of flowers and no sour weed mixed with them.. I took the privilege of pulling some up :P.. So we found a spot and I took some pictures, lots of pictures.So, once we got inside the pictures were so bright that the faces turned up white! Well, I tried again but still the sun was way too bright. :( THE END. (I could be a story writer.. it really shows! LOL.. Please note that I made the LOL capitol for that one!)

So, you see, I tried! But, maybe later I can fix them up with some major photo editing. Or I could always wait 'till a not-so-sunny day. One day I'll learn to stop committing to posting pictures! t-t-t.. that Abi!!!

...This here is my 2nd replacement...So you won't fall asleep!

My batteries are dead. I'm going to charge them tonight... and tomorrow (hopefully) I will get some new pictures up and posted! There are some beautiful purple flowers out in our field that I think would look great with some brightly dressed people! lol :)

So, good news!! Our little mud balls finally made it back! Tonight I'll make them take a nice long bath for their pictures tomorrow!

Once again..I'm sorry for not posting in a while...(somehow my post's always begin like this!)
1. Our computer has had a few little "complications" if you will.
2. My Daddy went to Cambodia last Tuesday on a mission trip and had to borrow my camera, so I didn't have any spring pics. or things to blog about.
Hence, my sorry excuses!

About the mission trip: My Daddy has been going over seas on mission trips ever since I was a baby, and maybe even before. After a long story, he finally was lead to Cambodia. There he has established an orphanage for children who's parents had died from Aids. He has a Cambodian friend who over-sees the orphanage, along with other "helpers". We are always excited to hear about all of his adventures when he returns from his trips! And we are anxiously a-waiting his return this Friday. Please pray for him and the work there! Anywho... After all of these rainy days our energy has been building up, and building up! (especially my twin brothers, Zeb and Zach!) So, when the weather looked a little clearer we were released to the great outdoors, and from the great outdoors to the giant mud puddles on our dirt road! They were released a couple days ago, and never came back! If anyone sees a bunch of muddy dirt balls, please contact us!!!!
(Just kidding, you know that right?)

Man, I sure was hoping for just a little more rain than that skimpy 10 inches (jk)! LOL :)

Okay, enough silliness! That rain sure was something though, wasn't it?! We actually had a tornado in Mystic (5 miles from here)! But thankfully it didn't come near our house, as far as our eyes know! We had some hail too! That was pretty neat. We went out on the deck and got some to eat! Funny, taste just like ice! Such a mystery! Anyway, our dirt road is completely washed out! All the ditched are filled.. and all of the sudden there are new little creeks and rivers on the side of the roads! But I just love the "after-effects" that the rain leaves on our little dirt road. But after the rains, the sunshine follows! And boy is it pretty outside! Everything looked so pretty and green! Its so fun to walk bare-foot through the mud puddles and gooey sand covering your toes! After our morning services at church we took a little walk down the dirt road. We needed a good soaking!

Well, if you haven't already heard from Hannah's blog ....
My mom is having, you guessed it! Another baby! We are sooooooooo excited! She is about 8 weeks along. :) Yay for babies!!!!!!!!!! So this will make number 8.

So, anyway...

Ida Marie is one years old today! She is the sweetest little thing ever! She got a swing for her Birthday that she absolutely LOVES! She gets so excited if you take her outdoors, because she knows that she will get to swing. I think she has fallen asleep in it 1 or 2 times :) She is walking everywhere and hardly ever crawls anymore! And has the cutes fat thighs too... But I guess she can get away with that one~
As she grows more and more everyday, her temper grows as well (and man does she have a temper) ! But it's about all we can do to not laugh at her. lol :) It is just so funny how she catches on to things like that.. But we don't know where she gets the head budding from! Well, Happy 1st Birthday Ida Marie! I love you :)

You know the "saying" THE SKY IS FALLING, THE SKY IS FALLING!? Well, I would like to change that saying to: THE TREE'S ARE BLOOMING, THE TREES ARE BLOOMING! I think spring has definitely arrived! I love the way the trees look with the fresh blossoms, and the bright green grass, and the sound of birds singing! I love watching the earth "come alive" again! I love spring :) *thinking to self.... Didn't I just post something about summer? And maybe people might get tired of hearing about the weather... But I LOVE weather... Oh well* I hope to have some spring pics. up soon... A fun time!

Today has been a good relaxing, rainy day. I love Saturdays when you get to sleep in, and when you finally wake up, read a book (until you 'lil baby sis. drags you out of bed by getting into you bracelets-- I tell ya, shes a MESS).

NOTE: Police men not allowed to read further!

So, Today all 9 of us set out in our 5 seater Ford truck (you know, the one without 4-wheel drive.) to put out some corn out around some of my Dad's hunting land. We couldn't have taken the van because we had to drive through the woods. Well, we got to Irwin Ville when 2 police men drove up, and thankfully past by us with out noticing. You see, we have had "GET DOWN" drills... We are like pros now with all of our experience! lol :) So, we got past them and then drove to the trash dump... that's where the big kids (Hannah, Gracie and I) got in the back of the truck, and the littler kids (Zeb, Zach and Lydia) moved to the back seat. So we set off, down the highways, and dirt roads. We stopped at two places. One stop, we walked beside a pond to look for turkey tracks. We found a few. And Dad found a flint stone :) Zeb and Zach were excited about that! Lydia and Gracie picked some sour grass and gave it out to every one who was on the back of the truck. I love chewing sour grass its so, so sour! Ida Marie really had a fun time getting to adventure out into the "deep woods". We got a kick out of her smiling to us on the back of the truck as she looked out the window!

All in all it was a very fun, eventful day! I love living in the country, and America it-self. I thank the Lord for all of these good times to spend with my family. And man are we gonna have A LOT of memories to tell our children when we grow up!

I am so glad that the warm weather is here. I could just sit out and "tan" (or in my case, BURN) all day. Just this afternoon I read my book (Summers return by Jannet Oak.... fitting title for my occasion!)and I was only out for about ten minutes. When I came in my face was red and burnt. Yeah.... so much for "tanning". Any body have a secret on how to tan? Anyone?!?!? Well, home-remedy-me-up, I'm still going to burn. Oh well!!!!

...The sun is here... Now if only summer brake would come just a little bit faster!

SNOW, in Georgia!?! Well, I say snow, but actually snow flurries. But if I hear the word snow, rather it be a snow blizzard, or just snow flurries, I am happy! I hear that there will be some more snow around 9:00 p.m. tonight.... But you can never fully trust the forecast so I am not completely sure. Anyway, Our Granny said that she might take us up to Perry to hunt down some heavier snow that we could actually play with.When the snow flurries started this morning my little Bro. Zeb said " I have just always wanted to have a snow ball fight." To his disappointment (and mine!) I replied,"I doubt we will be able to have a snow ball fight since it is only snowing a little bit." Poor thing, he was so excited about attacking his sisters with snow balls... Maybe it is a good thing it is only flurries! LOL :) Well, I could talk about the snow all day, but I better stop before I do! May your day be filled with snow!

Anyway, I have some good news, and some bad news...
The bad news: Ida Marie has been extremely ill this week, and today we discovered why. The doc. said that she has a throat infection and a ear infection. At first we thought she might have the flu, and they almost gave her the flu shot, but after they realized she had a fever too, they put her on antibiotics. So please pray for her.... and mama because she is having to stay up with Ida's whinny self most of the night!! (I guess pray for us kids too... because when mama is grouchy, ain't nobody happy!)LOL :)

So, the good news?: The HTML on our blogs Finally came back!!! So guess who's going to be busy??!!............

As you have noticed I changed my template AGAIN!! For what, 4th, 5th time? And the bad thing is, all the templates I changed have all been on valentines!! Ohhh me.

Dear blog followers,
How are you all doing? I am glad that you have come for a visit, please sit a spell! Well, we have had a pretty busy week here lately, going to church for our meeting and all. It was blessed tremendously! We had two speakers which I thought was kind of cool. We had lots of friends come, and stay at our house, which was tons of fun! I am rather tired at the moment. We have had services Fri. night, Sat. morning, then people came and stayed the afternoon, Sat. night , Sun. morning, and now we are about to go back for a Sun. night service in about an hour. It has been great :) It is just going to be so dull getting up and starting school, and doing chores :( But hey, we can do all things through Christ, right? It is just sort of like, after no school since Wednesday (we had to get a head though) it will be hard, especially with 3 quiz's to start the week! But anyway, I'll live :) So, enough about me... What have y'all been up to? Well, I need to go and get ready!! Love ta' hear from 'ya!

A coon hunting adventure!!

I finally found a background that will match my colors. Even though it wouldn't be my first pick, It will just have to do. Anyway, I would like to tell about our "Coon Hunting Adventure"... And an adventure it was..... Well, earlier this week we got a call from our good friends, the Reed's, that they had caught a coon in their trap. So, we decided to bring our dogs and let them chase the coon and maybe let them go a time or two. So, with 11 kids, 1 adult, and a 5 seater Ford truck (keep in mind that we do not have four wheel drive) we set of through the deep woods. I would have brought my camera if my batteries weren't dead. That would have been a sight to behold!! Okay back to the story.. We waited about 30 minuets for the dogs to tree. He was about 3 miles away, So 6 of us got on the back of the truck, riding down the highway to "Dumb Bunny's land" (that is the Reeds uncle, whom they call dumb bunny). Well, we got Joe, and every body got situated when.... WE GOT STUCK!!Not only were we just stuck,we were stuck sideways, in the middle of a small, sandy lane. I think this has happened a grand total of 4 times now! LOL :) Well, thankfully we have friends with four wheel drive (and snacks) that lives near by! So, we got pulled out after a series of clearing out bushes and weeds... and we cut a tree down with a hand held saw (not a very big tree though).
Well, we finally headed out, half froze, but we got out :) We had a pretty good laugh about that! ~This has been an official Abi Show story~ Come back next time for more.!.!.!.

What we've been up to;

1. Cleaning yards (which look great if I do say so myself, but whose wouldn't after a full day of cleaning them up, and a trash pile so full of sticks, pine cones, pine straw, and trash that it is still burning the next morning! :)

2. Trying to get ahead on school so we can fit MORE CLEANING TIME into our Busy (busy, busy, busy, busy) schedule.

3. Cleaning closets

4. Cleaning drawer

5. grocery shopping

6. eating

7. sleeping

8. Trying to keep it clean, lol :)

Explanation; We are having our annual church meeting starting this Friday and the preacher(s) are staying at our house for the weekend. Most of you know how that goes. So, we are cleaning, and doing school, Ike I don't know what! Because when Mama says "Clean up company clean" We are talking vacuum the base boards, clean out drawers, and hey, just for the records, last time she bought us new underwear!!!!!!!!! LOL :O)seriously.Anyways if you are planning any visits down in our neck of the sometime... Come while it's clean, because we are going to be tired out from cleaning! P.S. for this paragraph- For all you "dummies" out there, don't you know that your supposed to buy your kids new under wear when the preacher comes?? I mean "holy things" are good, but not holy underwear!! (Had to put that one in there.)

Well off that note, you are all invited to our meeting.
It starts this Friday (Feb. 6th-8th) at Eureka PBC church. If y'all don't know where that is go to eurekapbc.org. Why is it when it is hot we want it cold, and when it is cold we want it hot?!? That's a "mind puzzler" there. LOL :) I don't mind so much now that it is just starting to get cold. I like it because you get to drink hot chocolate with EXTRA marshmallows over flowing the top (yum)! And get to walk around in your flannel pajamas all day... And soup for supper! A adventurous little one!

This 'lil gal has been soooo adventurous lately! I think it was last Thursday we were watching a football game and Ida Marie was just crawling around in the room one minute,and then the next she was crawling around in Hannah's room (which is at the end of the house) and was sitting in there playing with the dresser knobs. Then Saturday or Sunday she was in Lydia's room and she had found a Hershey kiss on the floor, and ate the wrapper and all... She was having her a good'ole time! A word of advice,"If you are raising a child of adventurous genes, don't let your eyes leave her alone, because she will eat a Doritos while your mother is teaching the younger ones school, and while you are doing school next door you will hear a, she is eating a Doritos from a younger sister and you will have to run in there and stick your finger in her mouth and pull it out". Side affects may include ; screaming because you just took away something very yummy to her taste buds. But hey, The girl has no teeth so what do you do? Let her choke?!? Ah! she in chewing on a marker and getting all over her. Oh wonderful, now she needs another bath.

Well would ya look a-there! Pictures on Abi's blog. I am so proud of myself! Any ways, I was going to last night but I think I got 2 then my camera went dead. Cumputer Crash :(

So our computer crashed this week... Which means no pictures down loaded on this computer, which also means no exciting blogging until we can download some on the computer, which also means I probably won't even post 'till then. I was going to today but, I gave Zach the batteries from my camera to him, and Hannah's batteries are charging. So maybe when they charge I can put some pictures on. Well, I hope you all had a Merry Christmas!! I will also put pictures of our Christmas, and everything else on latter. But it will probably be New Years by then, so Happy New Years if I don't get back to you by then. We are off school until Friday, so I SHOULD have time. Love from your brain scattered friend, Abi. Today will take us to Albany Georgia. There we will find a small brick house with two grandparents by the name of Mop, and Pop. Yes, Mop and Pop are our grandparents. Hannah started calling them that when she was little and it just stuck. So, anyways Gracie, Lydia, and I spent the weekend there. Here are a few pictures.

Pop fixed us a Bonn fire. It was very warm on that cold night.

Oysters?? eeewww! No..... They are REALLY good! I don't know about someones else's oysters, but Pops are famous!

Then, to top it all off Mop and Pop took us to the Parks at Cheehaw to see the lights!

Wow! Has it really been over 2 weeks since I last did something, ANYTHING to my poor blog!?! Well, Now that the holidays are over, and every thing is almost back to normal I should be able to be a more faithful blogger. And this post is not even a real thing... It is just for you to know that I am not sick and in the hospital. Anyways, I got a new camera for my birthday and I am going to tell you about things and show yo some pictures too. So don't give up! It will probably be Tuesday before I do something to this 'ole thing. So, Bye!

A customer in a bakery was observed carefully examining all the rich-looking pastries displayed on trays in the glass cases. When a clerk approached him and asked,

"What would you like?" he answered."I'd like that chocolate-covered, cream-filled doughnut, that jelly-filled doughnut and that cheese Danish."

Then with a sigh he added, "But I'll take an oat-bran muffin." (What a cruel world we live in!)

I am getting really good at this picture taking thing! I mean look at these pictures I took, looks like a profesional! Okay, so maybe I didn't take these pictures, and maybe no one I know took these pictures...... And maybe I don't even have a camera (I hope to gt one though!) But it was just so tempting when you can just go right to sample pictures, and upload them to your blog! LOL..... Did I fool'ya? I dont think I did, but just for the fun of it! Go ahead, look at the " I wish I could take that good of lie tempting pictures"....

7 months!

Hey everyone!

This post is a little "belatted", but recent enough:) Any ways Ida Marie was 7 months the 26th of October! She has accomplished alot this month! She is crawlig like crazy, sitting up all on her own. She also had her 1 cookie (a vinilla wayfer) last week! She just got through eating one of those gerber baby cracker/cookie thing-a-ma-jeggies. Well, her are some 7 month pictures! Enjoy.....

Go Georgia Bulldogs, Go Georgia Bulldogs! I am very excited about the past Georgia games, but more so, the up coming! The next game especially, (Ga. vrs. Florida). I do admit though, I am a little nervous. But we musn't dout the "mighty G". LOL :) Okay, so maybe this post was a little random, and/or lame. But what Ga. fan can get enough of the Dawgs???

This was our trip to the Ga. game last year.

Hey fellow bloggers! The latest news on the Abi Show is based on a certain baby named Ida Marie.

Ida Marie can now say "bye bye" (if you say it to her first). It is so adorable! On the topic of bye bye, she will also wave to you as a side affect. One day we clapped for her, and now she claps for herself, LOL :)

She can crawl a few ft. now too! She is REALLY growing fast right now.

She LOVES her Duck too! She will just talk, and talk to it :)

1. I go nuts over cheese-cake, I LOVE that guy! :P

2. I love staying up at night playing mad-libs with my sis. Gracie.

hmmmmmm...................... Random things, this should be easy!

3. I like to hit my finger nails on things, especially wood because I like the sound.

4. I love watching romance movies ( is that random enough?)

5. When I am doing the dishes I like to take peoples left-overs and make "cooking shows" with them (as I talk to the camera LOL).

6. I have an obsesity with walking back and forth on our deck rail.

My season decison??

I think I have finally managed to figure out my seasons! My decison? Defenantly fall! You know, cold in the mornings, and a happy medium in the afternoons. Un-less you go on a field trip with your friends and relize if you run up the ladder of a huge blow up slide multiple times with a three quarter length shirt on, it is likely to fill like summer again, LOL! :) I know, I know, *patting myself on the back* I am a very good "tip giver"! Anyways, supper is calling my name! Bye!! :)

Oh, P.S. (do you even use P.S. in a blog??) Sorry no pictures today, but I will put some on next time! Sorry! :P

Winter, or Fall?

Hello!
Tell me, is it winter or fall, or what?!?!?When I woke up this moning the weather was 42 to be exact! I think the weather is just skiping fall and going straight to winter, Lol :) We have been cleaning out our closets and dwars so we can get a head-start when we swich out clothes for the season, which should be pretty soon! Anyways, I know I am a little late but here are some fall pictures we took yesterday.

Hi everyone!! Today on the "Abi show" You will get to meet the Tucker family! Yep, all 9! :)

This is the youngest, Ida Marie :) Aint she cute!?!?!?! (she is 6 months)

This is my Sis. Gracie with whom I share a room... she is 10.

This is my sister Lydia-- what a great pose! She is 6 almost 7.

These two "things" are my very cute twim brothers. They are 8 years old!

This beautiful girl in the pic. is me, myself, and I and she is going to be 12 in 3 months.

And this girl by the name of Hannah is the eldest! Her age is curently 13!

I will have to take a picture of my Mama and put it on here pretty soon. Probably Sunday when she is all "pretteyd" up!
